Cr. William Maslin today said, that he will be asking Gundagai Shire Council at its Ordinary Meeting in February, to hold a Main Street Committee meeting before the end of February and that meetings continually be held until the Committee can agree on a set of plans to be recommended to Council.

Cr. Maslin, in the motion, has stated that the plans need to be agreed on no later than the 31st of July 2009, so that Council can be in the position to apply for the appropriate funding from the Australian Government, should it become available in the next financial year.
